The Trojan Horse is USC’s fiercely progressive, independently funded student publication.
Don’t be wary. Our writers aren’t just critical, ignorant outsiders; they have first hand experience with the topics they discuss. They showed up, so we gave them a platform to talk about legislation, sex, drugs, music or whatever the hell else they actually gave a damn about. So if we piss you off because you don’t think we have anything to say, don’t bitch about it to your friends. Respond, prove that you do and we’ll give you a platform too.
Such preachy rhetoric might suggest we’ve become self-righteous since overcoming our inertia last school year. Our headlines may initially suggest we are trying to continue our image as cynical rant rag, condemning institutions and policies without any sincere commitment to affecting an alternative outcome.
